Lily's 18 Month Stats

I have been dying to know how Lily was doing height and weight wise these past few months since she seems to tower over other little ones her age. This past Friday we had her 18month appointment. Lily did AWESOME, better than she has ever done and she was a complete ham for the doctor and nurses. She seems to have a magnetic personality with people all over the place and it was just so funny to see her engaging so many people.

Weight: 29lbs 3oz ----> 95%tile
Height: 36 in -----> 99%tile
Head Circ: 19.75in -----> 99%tile

Her weight percentile has slowed down a little but her height and head are still of the charts. It's funny to think of my little girl being 3 feet tall. She is going to tower over me before I can even blink. =)

I asked the Dr about her speech which I have been a little concerned about just because when we went for her year appointment back in Sept she didn't have any words at that point and the Dr. wanted her to have at least 2 or 3. Well she has definitely increased her vocabulary, I think she has about 15 words now which she uses fairly consistently. Here are a few of her favorites:

trash, shoes, juice, daddy, doggie, "T" (for Timber), baby, fish, more, thank you, bye bye, and hi.

She got 2 shots at this visit and did great, not even a tear or cry. She liked our Dr. so much that when the Dr. left Lily cried for her to come back. It was sweet. Well, that's the update for now! Enjoy the impending spring!
